About Ceres Institute Think Tank

Mission Statement

To spark a smarter, safer food future by catalyzing bold ideas, real-world research, and actionable policies that put people and produce first.

Who We Are

Ceres Institute is an innovation hub for fresh food safety. We bridge the gap between boots-on-the-ground agriculture and cutting-edge science, policy, and tech. Our work empowers growers, producers, and industry leaders to rethink what’s possible—and practical—when it comes to producing safe, sustainable food.

What We Do

  • Future-Focused Research: Turning emerging science into actionable insight for the field.

  • Smart Policy Thinking: Advising on pragmatic, scalable solutions that drive industry innovation.

  • Tech & Tools for the Frontlines: Bringing fresh food safety into the hands of those who grow it.

  • Cross-Sector Collaboration: Creating a network where food safety isn’t siloed—it’s shared.

Why It Matters

Fresh food safety isn’t just a checkbox—it’s a shared responsibility, a competitive advantage, and the future of resilient food systems. We’re here to lead that future.
